TomTom ONE 3rd Edition Review
The TomTom ONE 3rd Edition is an entry-level auto GPS system that offers basic, easy navigation and the ability to add a traffic update receiver.
This TomTom One GPS navigation system comes with maps of all the U.S. states, Canada, and Puerto Rico. It includes TomTom Map Share, an innovative feature that helps keep maps up to date. MapShare allows you to make changes to the map on your device, then upload those changes through your desktop computer via the included Tom Tom GPS Home software. You can then download updates that other users have entered.

TomTom ONE, Third Edition, 3.5-Inch Portable GPS Vehicle Navigator
The TomTom One Third Edition has a bright 3.5 inch touchscreen that is easy to read. The menu is intuitively designed, easy to use right out of the box, and can be customized to your taste. A "Help Me" menu will display emergency contact numbers, the way to the nearest hospital or police station, and a First Aid Guide. A high-sensitivity receiver is excellent at locking onto satellite signals quickly. A small but thoughtful feature is speed-sensitive sound. With this option turned on, the volume of the voice prompts will increase and decrease according to the car's speed (and resulting engine noise). DrawbacksThe device has a disappointing 2 hour battery life. There is no expansion card slot to add maps. The Bottom LineFor a basic, affordable auto GPS device, the TomTom ONE 3rd Edition is a top pick. Easy to use, customizable, and able to add traffic updates, it delivers solid navigation value.
